NINA PERRY:

Nina Perry developed an early passion for fashion, design, art and culture that led her to study Art History at San Francisco State University.   In 1997 she designed a home accessories line inspired by the 1940's, 50’s and 60’s which was picked up by popular television shows like Friends, and Just Shoot Me, and retail outlets including Fred Segal and Nordstrom.

In 2002, she launched a similarly inspired line of handbags - Nina Perry - that was sold in up-scale boutiques across the country and internationally, and featured in publications including WWD and Us Weekly.

The natural direction for Nina Perry was Interior Design. Her personal passion is juxtaposing vintage and modern with a classic twist.  Her detailed experience with fabrics, texture, color,  her unique fashion background, and love for old cinema brings another layer of expertise to interior design. Nina began her own interior design business - Nina Perry - in 2007, where she continues to work in commercial and residential projects.

Nina's philosophy for interior design is to enjoy the process, don't take oneself too seriously, keep an open mind and don't set too many rules. The client's needs and influences are of the utmost importance, and it's up to the designer to take this information, translate, and deliver a design beyond the client's expectations, and hopefully in the end, you've achieved form, function, fluidity and a few surprises.
